Dubai will host an auction of rare Christie's watches.
This weekend Dubai will host an annual rare watch auction. Among Christie's lots will be presented Patek Philippe, owned by musician Eric Clapton, which, according to preliminary estimates, cost more than $ US 850 thousand. Another valuable item - Rolex, made for the Sultan of Oman, with a preliminary estimate of $ US 450 thousand.
A Rolex watch decorated with the logo of an eagle of the Ministry of Defense of the UAE and the signature of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai will also be auctioned.
