Michael Ellis Appointed as Culinary Director of Jumeirah Group

The former Michelin Red Guide international director has become the culinary director of the Jumeirah Group.

Dubai, UAE. Jose Silva, Executive Director of the Jumeirah Group, announced the appointment of Michael Ellis as culinary director. Previously, he successfully held the position of international director of the Red Michelin Guide for restaurants and hotels in Europe, Asia and America.

Being a recognized expert in this field, he is well versed in world culinary trends and in the nuances of the work of local restaurants. With the appointment of Michael Ellis, Jumeirah begins a massive change in the entire F&B strategy. Ellis will focus on developing creative concepts for existing restaurants, finding talented chefs and improving their skills, and will bring restaurants at Jumeirah hotels to the leading level in the industry.
