Dubai police fleet recognized as the fastest in the world

Dubai police officially named the Guinness Book of Records the fastest in the world thanks to a unique fleet of patrol cars.

The Chief Police Officer of Dubai, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, was awarded a certificate by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records, which confirms that the service fleet is recognized as the fastest in the world due to the use of the Bugatti Veyron as a patrol car.

Sports car worth $ 1.6 million, named the BBC Top Gear car of the decade, has a top speed of 407 km / h and can accelerate from 0 to 96 km / h in 2.5 seconds.

Veyron surpasses the previous record holder in the service of the US police, which is capable of speeds of 360 km / h.

Dubai police are famous for having a fleet of luxury sports cars, including the McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Mercedes SLS AMG, Roush Mustang, Bentley Continental GT, Audi R8 V01 Plus, Aston Martin One-77, Nissan GTR and Mercedes SL36 AMG. Also on the roads of the emirate, you can find official cars BMW M6 Gran Coupe and Mercedes G36 AMG modifications Brabus.

The certificate for achieving the record was issued at the 11th international summit on best police practices, which was also attended by Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Quality and Exclusivity Major General Abdel Kaddus Abdulrazh Al-Obeidli, as well as a number of senior police officers in Dubai.
