Vladimir Nabokov was sure that in human life there are only two meanings - literature and butterflies. In one of the writer's most controversial novels, Lolita butterflies flutter constantly, drawing an invisible thread between a young girl and a weightless, but endowed with special beauty, insect. As a hunter catches a butterfly in a butterfly net, so the main character caught in the snare his beautiful prey.
