Famous sculptor Anthony Howe installed two kinetic sculptures in Dubai

American sculptor Anthony Howe, world-famous for his works that resemble pulsating alien creatures, installed two kinetic sculptures in Dubai.

In his works, he uses computer-aided design systems, the formation of metal components using a plasma cutter, and completes them using traditional metal processing methods.

Howe's first sculpture, Octo 3, appeared in City Walk. Work height of 7.6 m already claims to be one of the largest kinetic sculptures. It weighs 3200 kg and is available for viewing by all. The sculpture is located opposite Paul and Argo Tea Cafe, in The Beach area from Meraas. The sculptures are designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 140 km / h. Nevertheless, they function properly and with less intense flow. At night, the colorful lights add a special charm to Howe's works.
