In Dubai, thousands of students will receive free study kits

Thousands of students in Dubai will be awarded school supplies before the start of the new school year.

In Dubai, 10,000 students from low-income families will receive school kits with all the necessary stationery thanks to the Dubai Cares initiative.

More than 300 volunteers on Saturday collected school bags with pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, and other school supplies as part of Union Coop's annual initiative from Dubai Cares.

School kits are distributed to students in Gulf Model School, HH Shaikh Rashid Pakistani School-Dubai, Radiant School Sharjah, Al Ihsan Charity Association, Al Rashidyah Private School - Ajman and Al Salaf Al Saleh Private School - RAK.

Kits for school fees for children from low-income families ensure that students have everything they need to start the new school year, said Tarik Al-Gurg, general manager of Dubai Cares.

"Our goal in this initiative is to ensure that children from low-income families feel that they have everything, returning to their classes with everything they need to start the new school year, with an optimistic mood," Al-Gurg said.
