Dubai's new water park hosted a raffle of tickets on social networks.
In honor of its opening and the holy month of Ramadan, Laguna Water Park, which opened on the coast of Dubai - at La Mer - gives out hundreds of tickets for free admission.
The competition is held on Snapchat's social network and is based on "secret geofilters" - these are filters that are applied to user images only in certain places.
Such geofilters are "hidden" in seven Meraas centers. Images with them must be sent to Instagram with the hashtag #LagunaTime.
On the first weekend (May 18-19), filters were placed on the beach opposite the JBR, in The Outlet Village, Al Seef and Last Exit (Abu Dhabi, Dubai). Next weekend, May 25-26, filters will be available at City Walk, Box Park and La Mer.
Winners will be randomly selected and announced on social networks a week after the "treasure hunt." Preference will be given to the most creative shots.
Laguna Waterpark is located on La Mer's central promenade. It is divided into four entertainment areas - Splash, Surf, Slide and Relax - with many first-class attractions, including unique entertainment, as well as SplashPad and AquaPlay children's pools and a lounge bar by the pool.
The ticket price is 99 dirhams ($ US 27) for residents of Dubai and 159 dirhams ($ US 43.2) for other visitors.
