UAE authorities seized French brand baby food from sale

The United Arab Emirates removed the French brand baby food unsafe from the market.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention of the UAE ordered the seizure of baby food by the French brand Lactalis due to the threat of contamination of the product with salmonella.

Products are seized at the request of the manufacturer.

The ministry also warns of the potential dangers of using a number of other products from other manufacturers, including some cosmetics containing a high concentration of mercury, and food additives that cause high blood pressure.

The Ministry asked the responsible authorities to take the necessary measures to remove unlicensed products from the market and prevent their distribution and import.

Dr. Amin Hussein Al-Ameri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policies and Licensing and Chairman of the Higher National Pharmacovigilance Committee, said victims of counterfeit products should inform the ministry or other health authorities so that they can take appropriate action. .

In case of any side effects, you should contact the Ministry through the form available at www.cpd-pharma.ae, or call 023201448 or 80011111 or send an email to [email protected].

Lactalis International baby food, unlike the products mentioned above, is registered in the Department of Medicines of the Ministry.
