UAE and Brazil agree on a visa-free regime

Citizens of the United Arab Emirates have visa-free entry to Brazil.

Holders of ordinary UAE passports can now go to Brazil without a preliminary visa.

In a brief statement, the UAE Embassy in Brazil thanked the Brazilian Senate for ratifying the mutual exemption agreements, which provide free visa-free entry for Brazilians in the UAE and vice versa.

Earlier this year, both countries exempted UAE diplomatic, special, service passport holders from visa procedures when entering Brazil.

The visa waiver was signed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
