Disabled escorts can visit Dubai parks for free

All public parks with a paid entrance will be free for people with special needs and their attendants.

Dubai Municipality will exempt visitors accompanying people with special needs from admission fees to the Emirate's public parks.

This step is in line with the goal of the municipality to comply with government directives in order to support people who require special attention and provide them with all conditions for a decent life.

It is also part of the My Community Place for All initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. It aims to turn Dubai into a place friendly to people with special needs by 2020.

Hussein Nasser Luta, general manager of the Dubai Municipality, freed up to two people to accompany people with special needs from having to pay a fee. Parks covered by this rule include Children's City and Dubai Safari Park.
