Hublot Builds Its Future and New Watchmaker Training Center

HUBLOT HAS RECEIVED ITS PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PRODUCTION CAPACITIES. THIS HOUR MANUFACTURE IS INTENDED TO EXTEND THE AREA OF ITS PRODUCTION CENTER AND DEVELOP OTHER PROJECTS RELATED TO THE MANUFACTURING OF HOURS. NEW BUILDING SHOULD APPEAR IN 2009

Could anyone please ignore the rapid growth of the Swiss watch company Hublot since the moment when its leadership passed into the hands of Jean-Claude Bouvet in 2004. With sales volumes quadrupling and an endless list of orders, this man made production stay at the proper level. In order to further develop and optimize its own activity, the Hublot brand discards all obstacles in its path and begins transformations, the results of which will be visible by 2009.

Today, Hublot employs 70 people, but according to the company's plans, the number of employees in the next two years will increase to 150. A new head office with a total area of ​​4,000 square meters. meters on six floors, two of which will be basements, will be located on La Vuarpillere street in the industrial zone of Nyon (Switzerland). The building will be clearly visible from the nearby highway, and tens of thousands of cars will follow him daily. It will be easy to reach it, since the distance from the exit point from the highway will be a little over one kilometer. The main goal is to combine different phases of production into one continuous process.

The new Hublot building will house a training center, machining, machinery manufacturing, assembly, quality control workshops and workshops for creating complex machinery, as well as a research and development department and an administrative department. In accordance with the proposal to open a training center and re-equip the new integrated company, Jean-Claude Bouvet plans to create his own school with independent access, which will allow watchmakers to take various retraining programs and specialized courses for mastery training. 300 sq. meters of the new building will be leased at reduced prices to beginner watchmakers and artisans in order to create a center for the exchange of experience and skills among young industry professionals.

The total project cost is approximately 15 million Swiss francs. Part or all of the funding will be provided by Hublot.
