Tango with Kenzo

This fall Kenzo is engaging you in tango. In the new collection, Antonio Marras, the art director of Kenzo House, is dancing volumes. Extraordinary, excessive, lush. Cascading. They surround the bust and emphasize the waistline with thousands of folds, ruffles, flying panels and petticoats. The figure becomes ultra-feminine and full of contrasts. Wide short jackets are complemented by tight tight pants decorated with rich embroidery. Corsage belts are buried in a whirlwind of multilayer fabrics and, like a partner’s hand, encircle the waist and invite to dance. Smooth hairstyles, wide-brimmed hats or the finest silk shawls adorn the heads, and the bodies are shrouded in draperies made of heavy Andalusian jacquard, silk with prints of giant roses, a plaid that gives an idea of all the clans of the highlanders, etched leather, damask and even taffeta ... Colors exult. Fiery red and bright green hues create abstract patterns on black and white backgrounds. The colors of fuchsia turquoise shade the entire spectrum of anthracite gray. Black at dusk plays with shades of unbleached canvas. The collection is complemented by stylish shoes, both on tall stiletto heels, as well as on original platforms and steady wide heels. Huge bags are made of soft leather, decorated with original clasps, embroideries and appliqués.
