Specially for a presentation from Japan, Sadaeshi Koyari, the chief engineer of the Lexus Development Center, who led the team for the development of a new car, flew in.
According to Lexus representatives, the premium brand is doing very well in the region. In 2006, Lexus increased sales by 30%, and 2007 - by all 68% due to sales of the LS 460, which was elected "Car of the Year". With the help of the new LX570, the company plans to occupy a dominant position in the segment of expensive cars in the UAE. The Lexus concern approached the creation of the new model very responsibly, because the 570th is intended to become the "flagship" of sales and determine the company's marketing policy throughout the world and in the UAE, in particular.
In the process of creating a new car, engineers and designers of the brand, as always, were guided by the invariable principle of "Excellence in everything." The strategic objective was to give the new car such characteristics that will be "a cut above" not only existing competitive cars, but also cars that are only planned in a series. Power, low noise, the most luxurious interior and safety, coupled with a reputation as a leading premium brand - this is what should make sophisticated Emirate car owners to fork out.
LX570 is based on the previous model, which has proven itself to be maneuverable and good handling. However, the new model has become wider and longer, increasing its interior space, which will be comfortable for eight passengers and their luggage. The length of the car increased by 6 centimeters, the width - by 2.8 centimeters, and the height - by 4 centimeters. Standard for the new LX will be 20-inch alloy wheels. The LX 570 has an electrically controlled hydraulic suspension. Using a valve system, electronics can adjust the pressure in the suspension of each of the wheels, preventing them from hanging off-road and reducing rolls in turns when driving dynamically.
Lexus LX 570 is a powerful 5.7-liter V8 engine with 367 hp. The new six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode significantly increases the performance of the car, regardless of the road surface.
Another new Lexus product is the Crawl Control system. The principle of its operation resembles cruise control, however, a new system is used on the road when driving at low speed. Crawl Control allows you to capture the speed at which the car will ride regardless of the quality of the road surface, allowing the driver to distract from traction control and concentrate on steering.
Made from expensive materials, the interior of the cabin gives the impression of a spacecraft cabin, it’s not even the dashboard, but the overall ergonomics and proportions. It seems that before arranging the seats in the cabin or the glass on the door, 100 such interiors were made and then the best of all was chosen. Perhaps it was.
The Lexus 570 is equipped with one of the most modern air conditioning systems in the world, which has four independent zones where the microclimate is formed. A tool for this are 28 (!) Independently working deflectors. Description of innovative technical solutions implemented in the new model may take another three pages. Just note that the LX 570 is equipped with a Mark Levinson audio system, with 16 speakers and a separate system for entertaining passengers in the rear seats. Perhaps the main novelty was the front and rear surveillance video system, which sees 360 degrees and makes it easier for the driver to control the situation, both in the stream, and when parking and reversing. Another "feature" of the LX 570 is a navigation system with a Bluetooth interface.
Another innovation was the hydraulic system for lifting the body. The essence of her work is that in the parking lot the body is at such a level that passengers are comfortable entering the cabin. Then, as you gain speed, the car body rises significantly, providing the driver with a good overview and control over the traffic situation.
We add to this that the appearance of the new Lexus 570 creates a feeling of strength, power and maneuverability, while the luxurious interior has a comfortable journey for the longest distances.
