Famous French fashion designer Alan Germain held a week-long seminar at the Esmod Dubai Fashion Institute, the only one in Dubai, on costume design and the impact of contemporary art on him. After the seminar, an exclusive exhibition of new designer creations was held at the Wafi Mall.
Alan German is known for his original approach to modeling and designing costumes that even the simplest household items and paintings can inspire. This concept of clothing modeling is new to students in the Middle East region. It should be noted that German is not the first time collaborating with the Esmod Institute. Earlier, he demonstrated at the institute an exhibition of "object" costumes, and also took part in a project to create dresses using elements and ideas of famous artists of the XX century. The works of the French fashion designer in the form of stage costumes are registered in the Performing Arts Fund of the National Library of France. Alan German studied music, choreography and architecture, he is also a gifted composer, artist and novel writer.
